Name: Tae Min
Age: 33
Sex: Male
Class: Lower
Disposition: Grizzled, Determined, Family-Focused

Character Background and Description
Tae Min works at the government-run cremation chambers. He is the only one in his family that works, and he supports his wife and two children. He has somewhat modest living conditions but gets by with what he can. He lives a life of hard work and as a result, he has become a gruff and sturdy man. Tae is somewhat friendly once you get to know him, but he rarely, if ever, opens up to strangers. With a wife and kids to think about, he’s lucky to have such a stable job; people are always going to need to be cremated.

Tae is one of the few people who use the Jisang public library systems. He is a fan of reading and enjoys reading about history. He grew up in a family who knew nothing about the world around them, except where they lived. Tae wants to change the status-quo and have answers to the history of Jisang and the world around him. Reading has transformed him into a more open-minded and intellectual person than his family.

With the recent shift in culture to this enlightened program, people have vanished off the map. Since people are disappearing with no bodies for cremation, Tae is worried that such a shift in culture would leave him unemployed with no bodies to cremate. This has him in a panicked frenzy in search of new jobs to support his family in case things take a turn for the worst.
